Last week was an incredible whirlwind of events for our amazing Applegate team! It's always refreshing to take a break from our busy schedules and bond outside the office. Check out some highlights of our kick off to summer at Applegate!

Thursday: Art Institute and Breathtaking Views

To kick off the festivities, a group of our employees embarked on a trip to the renowned Art Institute. We perused the new Salvador Dali exhibit "The Image Disappears" and explored other classic masterpieces.

After an enriching art-filled afternoon, we found ourselves on a beautiful balcony overlooking the city. The stunning panoramic views captivated us as we enjoyed a drink together. It was a perfect moment to connect, unwind, and appreciate the incredible skyline that serves as a constant reminder of the thriving environment we operate in.

Friday: We Had Ourselves a Field Day!

Friday was all about embracing our inner child as we indulged in a summer outing filled with camaraderie and friendly competition. We traveled a few short minutes to the University of Illinois Chicago picnic grounds to enjoy the beautiful weather and our "Field Day" themed outing.

From sack races to sand volleyball, we participated in various challenges, each bringing laughter and high spirits to the day. As the sun shone brightly, we relished the excitement of the games and team building activities while enjoying a BBQ spread.

Saturday: A Scenic Bike Ride

To conclude our kick off to summer, a group of adventurous colleagues embarked on a 22-mile bike ride from Buckingham Fountain in Chicago to the 18th Street Brewery in Hammond, Indiana. Once they reached the brewery they were rewarded with refreshing beverages. A perfect way to end a memorable week!
