My Role
I joined Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen in 2022 and serve as a Project Assistant. I provide assistance in completing a number of critical data management and administrative/organizational tasks.
My Background
Prior to joining Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen, I developed strong research and organizational skills through nonprofit and community organizations. I interned with the Chicago Torture Justice Center. My work involved conducting research on the Fraternal Order of Police and consolidating this information into memos and social media graphics for the Center to share as a resource for a wider audience. Through my internship with the Better Government Association, I balanced multiple projects, some of which included creating and organizing databases regarding COVID-related deaths in nursing homes. In addition, I have worked as a Research Assistant at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice where I coded interviews and assisted in developing narrative memos for every municipal ID program in the country.
My Passion in Life
I enjoy running as well as reading and collecting comic books
