Lotus House
Location: Miami, Florida
Project Description & Impact: Lotus House worked over several years to acquire multiple vacant or dilapidated lots and buildings to build a new 100,000 square foot comprehensive homeless services facility designed as a sanctuary for women, youth and children in Miami. The facility includes 140 dorm-like units, all of the supportive services offices, a full kitchen/cafeteria, a childcare center and a community health clinic and will serve up to approximately 490 women, youth and children each night and over 1,000 clients annually.
